Pick 10!

Start small, do 10 minutes of movement a day and transform your health with fitness this year!

By now the reality of a new year is here.  You’re back to work or routines and need to re-focus after the holidays. I am challenging you to COMMIT 10 minutes of activity each weekday for the next 4 weeks.  Weekends are optional and can be your “break/rest”.

If you’ve been on track with your activity, I challenge you to level up and add to what you already do, make your workouts fresh and give your body a new challenge. Add an increment of 10 minutes to your current workout or trying something totally new and do 20,30 or 40 minutes of something new.

If you’d like some ideas on how to add exercise to create an interval workouts - download ideas with the link below! It’s an easy way to boost your current routine or try something new!

If you’d like to receive new workout ideas that focus on intervals, reach out, I’d love to send you a few ideas! I also encourage you now to find an accountability buddy – look for someone that you can check in with during the week, support and get encouragement from.  They do not have to be doing the workout with you but inviting them to check in with you is another level of accountability.

When we surround ourselves with like-minded people who are striving towards or have accomplished the healthy habits we desire, we set ourselves up for success.

Remember, small changes add up and if you are trying to build the habit, make it doable so you can show up and win!  Once you’ve gained the new habit you can tweak it and change up the goal.  Each day you will be closer to that lifestyle you want. Remember, the difference between a dream and a vision is a goal and an action plan.

Commit to doing 10 minutes of any activity each day during the week.  Find an accountability partner, start tracking your activity so that you can see your success and motivate yourself to keep it up. Share your successes with your accountability buddy and admit your challenges. Maybe ask them what they’ve done to overcome a day with low motivation, or a busy schedule. Talking it out can help! You can inspire, encourage and support each other. A day that you feel low energy - they can pull you up and vice versa. Make an appointment with yourself or with your buddy, and simply SHOW UP!

"If you can get 1% better each day for one year, you’ll end up 37 times better by the time you’re done.” - James Clear author of Atomic Habits

Are you ready to do 10 minutes a day? It doesn’t have to be exercise or movement, maybe you want to be 1% better everyday in another dimension of well-being. The same example works, be 1% better than the day before and over a year, you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come.
